Dr. Roshan Perera is a public policy specialist with more than 20 years of experience in formulating and implementing macroeconomic policy in a developing country context; and expertise in regulating and supervising financial institutions helping strengthen their approaches to managing risks. She obtained her doctorate in Economics from the University of Melbourne in 2009. 

She has served as the Director of the Risk Management Department and the Additional Director of the Bank Supervision Department as well as the Deputy Director of the Economics Research Department at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. She’s currently working as a Senior Research fellow at Advocata Institute, Sri Lanka.
