The third Policy Dialogue of the Bandaranaike Academy for Public Policy was held on the 23rd of January 2024 at the Lavender hall at the BMICH. This was a student-led dialogue as the students of the Postgraduate Diploma Program of the BALPP and their course director, Prof. Arjuna Parakrama took the lead in taking a constructively critical look at the new direction for Sri Lankan education in the National Educational Policy Framework (NEPF) 2023. The members of the expert resource committee who helped prepare the document including Mr. Anura Dissanayake, the secretary to the Prime Minister and Dr. Sujata Gamage, were present at the event.

The debates, discussions and the dialogues, which were moderated by Prof. Deepika Udagama, the former Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, went on for more than two hours. More than 80 people participated in this policy dialogue.
